

Dr. Jeff Pierce, D.O. |
Dr. Pierce completed his Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine, Piscataway, N.J. He subsequently completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He continued with sub-specialty training in Manual/Muscular-Skeletal and Sports Medicine, E.M.G./Electromyography, Spine Care, Manual Medicine and Epidural Injections and in-patient and out-patient Rehabilitation. His focus for each individual is on proper evaluation in creating a specialized rehabilitation program to treat their needs. He provides education of the injury with an emphasis on prevention of further injury. In addition to his practice, Dr. Pierce is the founder of Athletes Unlimited.com, a non-profit organization for the development of athletes with physical challenges. He devotes a great deal of time coaching and developing their athletic skills, and more importantly, their life skills. He works hard to educate the community on disabilities while trying to break down barriers between able and disabled bodies. Currently, Dr. Pierce is a team doctor for the Detroit Fury, U-M Dearborn, Detroit Dogs, Little Caesar's AAA Travel Hockey and Athletes Unlimited.

As Director of the Center for Athletic Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital, Dr. Ryan cared for professional, college, high school and recreational athletes and was responsible for the Sports Medicine education of thirty residents. He is board-certified through the American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Osteopathic Surgeons. Dr. Ryan received his undergraduate degree at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his internship at Letterman Army Medical Center, Presidio, of San Francisco, California. Currently, Dr. Ryan is team physician for The Detroit Fury and the University of Detroit-Mercy.
