Services offered by Michigan Sports & Spine Centers

Michigan Sports & Spine Center provides a variety of services to meet your needs.  Whether you are an athlete with a sports injury, or a secretary at a law firm, MSSC understands your pain and can treat your specific needs.

Sports Medicine is a subspecialty that addresses prevention and treatment for all active people. Some think of it as primarily care for the injuries of elite athletes. With today's focus on physical activity as an integral part of a healthy lifestyle for the entire family, Sports Medicine is now directed to serving anyone with musculoskeletal injury or pain who wants to be more active than his or her medical condition allows.

Sports Medicine specialists treat overuse injuries in individuals whose physical activities strain muscle groups, bones (stress fractures, shin splints), tendons, and ligaments. Above all, Sports Medicine specialists are focused on lifelong fitness and wellness. They provide information and training for the prevention of illness and injury as well as treatment for conditions that limit physical activity.

You won't have to travel to see a Physiatrist for spinal injection therapy, nonsurgical spine treatment, electrodiagnostic studies or postsurgical rehab, either. Dr. Jeff S. Pierce is a board-certified Physiatrist and Dr. Caruso is a board certified Physiatrist in the Fellowship Program on staff.

Michigan Sports & Spine can also provide service for any family medical need.  Dr. Hadla is a board certified Family Physician devoted to comprehensive health care to people of all ages. It is a form of primary care that provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, sexes, diseases, and parts of the body.
